Kwik Trip’s Accounting department has an opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide excellent administrative and office support services to Accounting and Finance department leaders and co-workers. This highly self-motivated individual will be responsible for organizing, updating, and maintaining various accounting records, providing excellent customer service, answering the telephone, preparing and reporting meeting minutes, and writing correspondence. Responsibilities will also include, but not be limited to, working with the general ledger and assisting in the preparation of period financial statements and year-end audit work papers, researching and compiling company financial data and providing reports to management inside and outside of the department, and other various activities related to preparing and presenting materials associated with meetings, presentation and other department projects.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours (typically 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Post high school degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounting or Administrative Assistant role. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; excellent typing and 10 key punch skills; excellent understanding of accounting terms and concepts; ability to work alone as well as with a variety of individuals; excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines; ability to identify and complete tasks without direct supervision; detail orientated; accuracy in data entry; willingness to learn new tasks; excellent organizational skills; knowledge of operating general office equipment; and an overall great people person. A high level of confidentiality is a must.
