Schedule: Full Time (40 hours or more per week)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m.
Manages all aspects of LHI's SharePoint environment to include: design, architecture, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring and security of the portal. This position plays an integral part in the development of strategies for optimal use of SharePoint and other collaborative tools within the organization.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field combined with a minimum of 4 years experience working with SharePoint Platform (with recent experience using SharePoint 2010) in an administrative capacity. Strong understanding of Microsoft SharePoint Architecture along with expertise and experience with complex technical activities is required. Equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience will be considered. Related MS certifications are preferred.
Qualified candidates must have an understanding of Software Development Life Cycle methods along with current industry knowledge of development concepts, best practices and procedures for SharePoint solutions. Microsoft SQL Server, Workflow and SharePoint Designer skills are required. Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server and Microsoft Visual Studio.NET is preferred. Development experience is also preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills in a team-based development environment is required. Candidates must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a highly charged and fast-paced environment. Must be able to use judgment and creativity to design coding approaches that satisfy requirements/specifications provided by business analysts and software development managers.
National Career Readiness Certificate preferred.
This position will support LHI’s performance of a United States (U.S.) Government contract and will require the successful applicant to access and/or process Non Critical Sensitive information (Personally Identifiable Information [PII]/Protected Health Information [PHI]) from or contained in a U.S. Government IT system. To fulfill the data and IT system access requirements for this position, the successful applicant will be required to successfully complete a Trustworthy Determination, which will require the successful applicant to: 1) be a U.S. citizen 2) pass a National Agency Check with law enforcement in order to obtain the access privileges required by the position and 3) pass a Credit Check in order to obtain the access privileges required by the position.
